Amari, Rethymno, Crete
In the foothills of Mount Psiloritis, 30 kilometers from the town of Rethymno, lies the green valley of Amari with dozens of villages, endless olives groves and a rare natural wealth of more than 1,600 species of flora native to our region.
Goats and sheep graze freely on this special land to produce a unique milk which we collect each morning for our cheeses.
